Dr. Douglas Porr received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. After dental school Dr. Porr commissioned as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy and entered a Prosthodontics Residency Program. He received his specialty certification in Prosthodontics and a Masters of Science in Oral Biology. He iscurrently the head of the Prosthodontics Department at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Dr. Porr is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association. Dr. Porr believes that the first step to a beautiful smile is understanding a patient’s goals and makes it a priority to educate patients on their oral health and thoroughly explain treatment options.
Outside of work Dr. Porr enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, playing tennis and skiing with his wife Radhika. Joining Dr. Porr and his wife on their outdoor adventures are their two dogs, Spartacus and Emma.
