Dr. Daniel T. Mayeda received his DDS degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his certificate in implant surgery and prosthodontics from the Misch Implant Institute in Dearborn, Michigan. Dr. Mayeda was trained by the Cerecdoctors in Scottsdale, Arizona in CAD/CAM fabrication of implant restorations integrating digital cone beam technology.
Dr. Mayeda served as President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and Accreditation Chair. He is a Fellow of the AACD, International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. He also is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Implantologist, Amercian Academy of Implant Dentistry, California Dental Association and Hawaii Dental Association. Dr. Mayeda holds state licenses in both Hawaii and California.
Since 1994, Dr. Mayeda has educated thousands of dentists throughout the world. He has lectured and conducted hands-on workshop in Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, India, Canada, Monaco, Philippines, Mexico and the United States.
Dr. Mayeda is deeply committed to training the next generation of dentists. For five years, he served as director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Lutheran Medical Center-Maui program. This program was one of the few in the nation that taught dental residents implant surgery and prosthodontics. He also taught oral biology, anatomy and dental materials at the University of Hawaii, Maui College.
